  • Module spread — healthy packs show all modules within about 1-2% of each other; one module well below the rest is a warning sign
  • Usable capacity in kWh — a healthy pack reads close to 84.7 kWh when new, so roughly 76 kWh at 90% SoH
  • Maximum state of charge — if this is capped at 80% or 90%, a recall software update is active

The Warranty Floor: 70% at 8 Years / 100,000 Miles

Jaguar warrants the I-Pace battery for 8 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km), whichever comes first, and will cover the pack if a certified Jaguar retailer measures it below 70% state of health within that window. At the degradation rates the I-Pace actually shows, a normally-aged car will not come close to 70% inside the warranty period — an I-Pace hitting 70% before 8 years has a defect, not wear, and that is exactly what the warranty exists for.
